Perfect length for me (5'10" and 175 lbs, msmts are 42" 34" 42").I was trying tons of different jeans to find one or 2 that fit right because I've gained weight and can't fit into my old jeans. If I'd remembered that these were supposed to be tapered, then I might have returned them! However, they fit; I like the length. I would call these a straight leg fit with ease through the hip and thigh. I love the super high-waisted style and these are great. Some might think the waist is too high. Fabric feels like real denim. It's substantial and has no stretch (until someone makes a stretch denim that maintains its shape, I'm sticking with 100% cotton!).
