I'm only 5' tall, about 104 lbs. Because I'm short, the length looks like regular jeans on me- not ankle length. But that's fine with me. I was debating between 28 and 27. Definitely go for the smaller size, I find the waist way too big- as a result, they come down a little during regular wear. I ordered another pair in 27" waist- hopefully they fit better. Weight of denim seems ok, very stretchy.I received the 27" and I'm in love with the fit. But to clarify, the color Lost are not actually jeans. They're a thick kinda no cords corduroy material- so they're soft and fuzzy, and cordo-like, but not lined if that makes sense. Lol. I love them, but others should be aware.
