I love the fit of these Paige jeans. I am on the shorter side (5'3") with very muscular legs, and they show my shape beautifully in all the right places. I especially like the ankle length because (since I am short) the length is similar to what a normal pant would be, which is what I was going for. I listened to other reviews that recommended sizing up, and I do agree with this assessment and was glad that I did (I ordered a 26 instead of a 25). However, I haven't washed these yet and I am worried that they will shrink over time even more--making them too small on my hips. So, I considered even ordering a 27 (!) and washing and drying them to make them perfect, but for now the 26's look great. I will update to let you know how the black dye preserves over time. Hopefully, considering they were $170, they black appearance stays put.Update: Kept the size 26! It still fits well after washing multiple times. Color remains dark black. I always air dry though!
